Hello! My name is Ethan M., and I am currently enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I have always been an inquisitive academic, so answering questions is a great joy of mine.

As I proceeded through high school, I took most of the math and science AP courses which provided me an understanding of AP exams as well as course material. I took this with me into a job as an instructor at Mathnasium where I prepared students K-12 to succeed from the basic four functions to AP Calculus BC. I most enjoyed tutoring students one on one since I could see their growth the most during those times, even if it was rare that I had only one student. In my studies, I always felt it was easier to understand how the formulas were derived when learning, so I try to weave that kind of instruction in as much as possible when tutoring. Through this, I wanted one thing for students: the ability to know why they are doing what they are doing.

I will graduate high school this May (2026), but I am also currently working towards a degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology through their distance math program.
