I believe she is motivated to so out of her passion for writing and teaching. As a result, the outcome is very encouraging - I was immensely proud when comparing the essay I wrote at session zero side by side with the one I wrote after session six. It was a huge difference! Thanks for your attention. This is the longest review I’ve ever posted, which probably demonstrates that I don’t hate writing as much anymore.

She will check his reading comprehension, improve his writing structures to be more concise and ask him questions if the sentences are not clear as they both edit and revise together. After 1 month, he has improved his writing from about 6 sentences to 1 to 1.5 page length with a good flow and he is becoming less reliant on Laurie. Laurie will continue to work with Ivan in his writing for higher writing level. Laurie is a highly experienced tutor and I would recommend anyone to her.

Aric creates weekly writing assignments to be completed before their session, with a prompt that is fun and interesting to my son. During the session, they go over strategies to create cohesion and flow. Of course, grammatical corrections and syntax is reviewed with attention to eliminating vernacular jargon that is so pervasive in teenage writing. All this has helped my son pay attention to what constitutes good, persuasive writing.
