I have worked with students who were behind in reading and writing as well as those who were English second language learners and whose first language was Spanish as I am a native Spanish speaker. I also have worked with students with special needs and have a Master's degree in Education.

    I have taught reading as both an educator and volunteer for close to 15 years. Teaching phonics means helping students hear the sounds of the different letters then helping them put the letters together to form words then sentences.
