Hi! I'm Emily, RN, BSN, and this is why I should be your NCLEX tutor:
I believe in working smarter not harder! I guarantee to make the most out of our time together by focusing on the tools you need to PASS! I'll teach you HOW to choose the correct or best answer, even if you lack or have no knowledge pertaining to the question. Other things we will focus on are key subjects and concepts that run throughout the exam. If you studied hard in nursing school and are dedicated to preparing for the NCLEX, have some faith in yourself! You will pass!
Here's a little bit more about myself. I obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at the University of Mississippi. I have over 3 years of nursing experience in the areas of cardiovascular and dialysis nursing, and I am applying to begin a master's program for FNP this fall. I worked as a RN in the CVIMU at The Methodist Hospital-Med Center for two and half years. While in nursing school, I was selected as 1 of 20 applicants among a group of 400 to extern at TMH in the Medical ICU. The following year, I externed in the Neurosurgical ICU at UMC in Jackson, MS. After graduating, I worked as a dialysis nurse for 6 months in MS, got married, moved to Houston, and began working at Methodist. Now, back to why I can help you pass the NCLEX.
To prepare for the NCLEX I took an online review, and I passed after answering 75 questions.
I scored in the 96th percentile nationally on my first HESI exam. It was the first test HESI came out with.
I passed my exit HESI exam on the first take. I also scored in the 99th percentile on Baptist's College of Nursing's entrance exam. Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can do it!
