Celina, 9 lessons with Billy WayneI was doing really bad at first in Orgo, but he really helped turn it around and gave lots of helpful resources!! I went from getting 50s (without any tutoring) to 80s and 90s on my exams. The only thing I regret is not starting sooner, book with him!!!!
I've had the privilege of tutoring for nearly 20 years, specializing in organic chemistry. When not learning new chemistry myself, I enjoy sharing what I know with others. I hold a PhD in Computational Organic Chemistry and a BS in Chemistry and Math (summa cum laude).
Know that organic chemistry *can* make sense and I'd be happy to share with you everything I know, from fundamental concepts to tricks that help you remember which chemical does what. I specialize in getting you "caught up"...

Highly recommend for AP Chemistry
We're so glad we found Billy for AP Chemistry. Our son had been struggling with several key concepts — atomic theory (the relationships between protons, neutrons, and electrons), empirical and molecular formulas, and stoichiometry — and this tutor was able to break each of them down in a way that finally made sense to him. He was patient and clearly experienced, taking the time to understand how our son processes information and adjusting his teaching approach to match. Our son came away feeling confident instead of overwhelmed, which says a lot given how dense AP Chem can be. We're looking forward to continuing to work with him and would highly recommend him to any family looking for a tutor who's patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping students truly understand the material — not just memorize it."

Chemistry
He taught me about significant figures and how to do dimensional analysis. He was really thorough with his explanations and was very explicit. I recommend him to others who need tutoring for chem and I will be booking with him again in the future.

Best tutor Ive had related to Organic chemistry
Billy was very knowledgeable and kind while working with some hard synthesis problems with me for Organic chemistry II. He used many resources to get the most accurate information and made sure I left with a full understanding for what I am doing. Best tutor I have had on here.
