Don F.

I am a graduate of Austin Community College in 1999 with an Associate of Applied Science, Engineering Design Graphics.
Currently I am an Adjunct Faculty at Austin Community College in the same program I graduated from, teaching "Intro to CAD" and have been there since 2004.
I also work full time using CAD in the engineering department of The Lower Colorado River Authority. I have been with this company since 2001.

Past CAD experience includes Lead CAD Design for PointOne Telecommunications from 2000 to 2001 (Company bankrupt).
Also CAD Design for Schiff & Associates Security Consultants from 1997 to 2000. My AutoCAD job experience covers electrical schematics and also dealing with structural engineering drawings.

Before entering into my drafting career, I spent 20 years in the restaurant business and I hold an Associate's degree in the Culinary Arts. I spent a lot of time traveling, opening restaurants and training the entire kitchen staff. When my son was born I went back to school to get a degree in drafting and was able to have weekends off and could spend more time raising my son.
