Hi,
My name is Jestine, I am 42 years old, and I live in Irmo, SC. I am married with a 21-month old little girl. I have 20 years of SC teaching experience in mathematics. I taught 3 years at Brooklyn Cayce High School (1991-94) & another 3 years at Richland Northeast High School (1994-97) and am currently serving my 14th year at Columbia College of Columbia, SC where I supervise pre-service math teachers.
I have also served as a math homebound teacher for Richland School District Two for 13 years. During my teaching career, I have taught courses ranging from basic developmental algebra to Calculus I. My knowledge of content is very strong, and I am well trained in the latest technologies that support our current-day math curriculum.
I have a BA in secondary mathematics, a Master's degree in Secondary Math Education, and am currently working on my Ph.D dissertation in Math Education.
