We touched on creating individual automation lanes within Ableton itself to keep an organized workflow after bouncing the MIDI to audio. So much to look forward to for the next lesson because Stoni allows you to put in to practice what she is speaking on so it comes to reality right before your eyes. I would highly recommend booking a session with Stoni because she gets right down to it and I look forward to my next time with her.
Some months ago, I purchased an electric piano for my daughter, hoping to connect it to MIDI/Garageband using my iPad. It wasn't as easy as I thought. I searched CL for someone to help with little success. I was happy to find Alex and happy to have him back again to dig into deeper settings. Now we have the basics working.
Today I learned how to use loops for recording, how to use midi with recording, how to duplicate tracks to provide greater emphasis and dynamics, how to grab different parts from different tracks to put into composite and fix rough spots, downloaded 60gb of sounds from Apple sound library. Got off the call and made some major improvements to my tracks with all of the new skills and knowledge. Well worth the time and investment. Worked with him two times and saw good results each time.
