I’m an Orange County based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist specializing in indie pop, indie rock, alternative, and math rock music. As an active recording artist, I approach teaching from both the perspective of a musician and a producer, with a focus on helping students develop their own sound and creative voice.
I’ve spent years writing, recording, producing, and performing my own music, working across guitar, vocals, piano/keys, drums, electronic production, and live looping. My experience spans the entire creative process, from developing an idea and writing chords and melodies, to arranging, recording, sound design, mixing, and preparing music for release.
My teaching style is practical, creative, and tailored to each student. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all curriculum, I like to build lessons around the music you actually want to make. Whether you’re learning your first songs on guitar, developing your voice, trying to write your own music, or learning how to produce a complete track, I can help you turn your ideas into finished music.
I especially enjoy working with students interested in indie and alternative music, songwriting, music production, guitar, vocals, keys, drums, and live looping. My goal is to make music education feel inspiring and immediately useful while giving students the technical foundation they need to become more independent musicians.
