Which is grammatically correct: Smoke contacts walls or smoke comes into contact with walls?
Can I put an adverbial phrase between the verb and the object?
The two sentences:"She ran very fast down the hill"and"She changed very little her husband"seem to have the same structure, but the first sounds fine and the second one sounds wrong. What is going on?
