Voice Teacher / Vocal Coach - Classical Piano Teacher
In your voice lesson with me, we would talk about fundamentals of good singing, including diction, projection, breath support, vowels & consonants, resonance and many more topics. I would introduce some vocal warm-ups and vocalizes which will strengthen both the upper and lower ranges so you can increase your vocal versatility. Wanna work on those high notes? I can help with that!
After a good warm up, we will work on songs, which could be art songs in another language, like Italian (you do not necessarily need to know the translation--we work on the proper pronunciation so you can sing in Italian with confidence)). Also, I have experience in musical theater--since my studio is in an Arts Center in my town of Livingston, MT-- where there is an active community theater that has a full season of musicals. I can teach you how to audition for roles, how to feel confident on stage, and many other aspects particular to performance in musical theater and other stage venues.
I also incorporate your favorite pop songs! Do you have a favorite artist--and you want to learn their songs? We can work on specific popular songs to your liking, and afterwards you can shine on the next karaoke night--because you will have prepared & worked on the songs already! I think learning to sing should be fun, so I am happy to include all sorts of styles in your lessons--from Classical to Jazz, from Pop to Folk, and of course-...musical theater.
I think you will love voice lessons with me! So please check out my profile, and let's get started on lessons!
