Parents you should ALWAYS summarize what you understand a conversation to mean or be about in writing. For example; write an email to the teacher... Dear Ms. Smith, As per our phone conversation at 2pm on Tuesday the 5th. I understand that you find Billy to be inattentive during math class.

Then send your summary via email and copy (cc) at least 2 additional people. Like the head of special services, and the case manager. This will provide accountability, and also a date and time stamp.
