Am I too old to learn a new instrument?

Absolutely not! as long as you're dedicated, work hard, and have the means to achieve anything (this doesn't only apply to music), you can achieve it, whatever it is. you know, my first language being Spanish, I've always been a bit of a language geek, I'm learning new languages to this day, right now I'm learning Russian. Same concept with a new instrument, if you have the heart and passion to pick up something new, you can be 90 and do it.

You are never too old to learn an instrument! I learned piano and violin when I was young, but added viola and guitar later on in life. The most important thing is to practice! No matter how old you are, practicing will provide results.

Never! Learning an instrument is healthy for your mind and body no matter your age. Music is about enjoying yourself - it is not a competition. While there are some disadvantages to learning anything new after your brain has finished developing, there are many advantages as well. You have much more advanced levels of responsibility, attention to detail, and patience!
