Signs that used to be different?

A lot of the examples I can think of are nationalities that used to be different but became offensive. What are some other ones?

Numbers, locations, countries, used to have different signs but as the language evolved they changed to become easier to sign, easier to make sense of and include more modern inventions that were nonexistent. We are also all more aware of racism, minorities that are oppressed, and many other social justice issues. These issues that were brought up and discussed now have produced more appropriate and acceptable signs for the various vocabulary within these communities.
