Looking for a word that describes arriving in a place or country for the first time and feeling more at home than the place you were born or raised. Or not feeling right in the place you were born, yet feeling that way in a new place. I was told that many Jews feel this when they go to the Holy Land, and especially Jerusalem, so I was wondering if there's a Yiddish or Hebrew word for the concept.

A Sabra (Hebrew: צַבָּר‎, tzabar) is any Jew born in Israel. The term came into widespread use in the 1930s to refer to a Jew who had been born in the land of Israel (inclusive of the British Mandate of Palestine and Ottoman Palestine. Therefore, if someone said, I felt like a sabra returning to my homeland, even though they were not a native of Israel or Jewish for that matter, this word might convey the feeling you're searching for.
