What is the process after modeling to build prototype in furniture industry? I model my design in SolidWorks.

After 3D modeling, all required documentation (drawings, specifications, and requirements) should be completed. Vendors should be searched and RFQs (Requests for the quotes) are obtained. All necessary files should be sent to a selected vendor for the prototype. After the prototype will be finished, tested and verified a pilot lot of some feasible number of the pieces should be ordered, tested and verified. All revisions should be performed according to the initial, or modified requirements. After the pilot lot, a product is ready for production.
