MSME with 12+ yrs of professional SOLIDWORKS use w/ Static Simulation
This is not a SOLIDWORKS question since you are asking how to do this in a completely different software package. However, if you wish to use SOLIDWORKS software to help calculate this in SOLIDWORKS then you need the Motion Analysis module. This is included in the SOLIDWORKS Premium package. You will need to first model the robotic arm with correct materials and friction loads then place a motor that replicates what you're looking for. From the graphics results, you will find the peak torques at the varying speeds during the process. This is a multi-step setup process and requires access to and mentorship in Motion Analysis.
