What is the difference between Hypermesh and CATIA?

Hyper-mesh is generally used for Finite Element Analysis

CATIA is for part modeling, Surface modeling, Sheet metal design etc,.

In other words, you design components using CATIA then test the reliability and load bearing capabilities for the designed part using Hypermesh.
