Question about asl equivalents for English slang

I know that slang and idioms don't translate super well a lot from English to ASL, but I have a question about one specifically: If I say "I got you" (usually written like "I gotchu") that would usually mean something equivalent to "I will do this thing for you" or just "yeah sure." If I wanted to say that in ASL, would I have to say something like "yeah sure," or would it make sense to directly use the signs for like "I got you" or "I have you" or something along those lines?
