Will Desktop Publishing (DTP) course help me to set up a part time business with small investment?

Greetings, Every business requires having to do administrative tasks to stay organized. In that respect, a DTP course would give you the basics as to how to us Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, etc. In terms of the investment part, there are workforce places that offer these classes for free or you can us Wyzant to find someone who can teach you the basics of DTP one-on-one. This question really depends on your business model, but I would say yes! Desktop application deployment is a great skill to have, and it is very useful in business.


For example, if you develop a desktop application to ring up customers and checkout, it would be very useful to deploy this application for your workers to easily use. If it wasn't deployed as an executable, it would be difficult for the non-coder to run and utilize your useful application.


If you're trying to create an application to sell to other consumers, then you definitely need to know how to deploy it.
