Trying to translate a welsh name into hebrew

Hiya, I'm trying to translate my friend's name into Hebrew, since we're both taking Hebrew classes. His name, translated from Welsh to English, means "Son of the Ocean," or "Son of the Wave," or "Great Tide." I'm having a hard time translating this into Hebrew because I'm not that familiar with Hebrew names, and I would love some help.

There's a neighborhood in Haifa called Bat Galim, which means daughter of the waves. If you want your friend to be son of the waves, you could call him Ben Galim. In Hebrew that would be בן גלים.
