Learning Hong Kong / Chinese sign language
Hi,
I know that this is the ASL reddit but I have tried searching elsewhere on Reddit to no avail, and online elsewhere there are limited resources; nothing similar to the abundance of ASL resources.
My question is if anyone knows and can share any good resources for HKSL and CSL?
I have been learning ASL using Bill Vicar's youtube since I started this year and it has been great but I live in HK and I do need to improve my Cantonese and Mandarin too. So even if the resource doesn't use English like on the video captions it would be good to improve two skills at once. Additionally I believe ASL is only used in limited capacity in Hong Kong?
Thanks!

Have you met a deaf person in Hong Kong who knows HKSL fluently? If so, hang out with him/her. He/she may have friends who also know HKSL, so get to know them also! Along the way, you may also pick up on Cantonese/Mandarin.

Here is another source of HKSL: https://www.jw.org/hks/ In this website, you can toggle between HKSL videos and the English text version of the same material. This can be done by using the drop-down menu of language selections symbolized by a speech balloon on the top bar. Hope this helps.06/18/20
