Best investments for a beginner nail tech?

Hey all! I’m a cosmetology student and also teaching myself to be a nail tech since cosmo school really doesn’t go over nail design. I’m buying my first serious nail kit so I can start working on models and I THINK I might have everything I need, but I was hoping y’all might have some suggestions of additional things that I’ve left off of my list. So far I have: -gel starter kit w/ 5 colors, base&top coat, LED lamp (as well as plenty of various glitters, Mylar striping taps, nail tips) -5 piece liner striping brush set -metal nail studs and shapes -gellish builders gel -7 piece gel application brushes -6 additional gel polish colors If you also have any brand suggestions I’d love to hear, thanks y’all!

I recommend investing in a good nail drill remember to read reviews they will tell you everything you need to know! Second I would recommend a good nail brush Kolinsky Sable brushes are amazing and come in different sizes not to be confused with gel or lacquer brushes which are smaller. I love using Kira Sky products their acrylic and dip nail powders are amazing!
