it's about half of 78; do you see why?

 

Also 976/0.188 is best calculated on a calculator--why not get a precise answer, since calculator are ubiquitous?

But if you insist on estimating, it's about 1,000 divided by 1/5 which would be estimated (crudely) as 5,000.
