Make l the subject means solve for l.
kl - km = lm - ln remove the parenthesis using the distributive property.
kl - lm + ln = km bring all the terms with an l on one side and put all terms without an l on the other side.
l(k - m + n)= km factor out the l from each term.
l = km/(k-m+n) divide both sides by whatever l is being multiplied by.
And you're done. By the way, you will get a different version of the answer if you bring the l to the right hand side but it is also correct.
