so this is linear.
For slope intercept form y=mx+b:
y = (5/4)x + b
Using (1,5) as (x, y) find b
5 = (5/4)(1) + b
b = 5 - 5/4 = 15/4 or 3 3/4
y = (5/4)x + 15/4
y = (5/4)x + b
Using (1,5) as (x, y) find b
5 = (5/4)(1) + b
b = 5 - 5/4 = 15/4 or 3 3/4
y = (5/4)x + 15/4
If you don't like the fractions the multiply
through by 4 and put in standard format
of ax + by = c
4y = 5x + 15
