% of an unknown

If 10% of an unknown number is 27,000, then what would 2% of that same number be?

I'm sorry but that's not quite what I needed.
Maybe if I phrase it differently?
If Arron received $27,000 dollars or 10% of an unknown amount, then later Paul received 2% of that same unknown amount, how much would Paul receive?
So I want to know how much 2% or how much that 2% would be?

Perhaps differently
n represents the unknown amount
27000 = 0.10n
270000 = n
0.02(270000) = 0.02n
