logb(x^4 sqrt(y)/z^9) = logb(x^4) + logb(sqrt(y)/z^9) (acc. to product identity)
= 4*logb(x) + logb(sqrt(y)) - logb(z^9) (the last two parts were written according to quotient identity)
= 4*logb(x) + logb(y^1/2) - 9*logb(z)
= 4*logb(x) + (1/2)*logb(y) - 9*logb(z)
