Let B = no of boxes she originally had

 

She bought 7 more making the number as B+7. Now  half got destryed

Left = (B + 7)/ 2 = 22 given

          B+7 = 44 

B = 44-7 = 37 is the initial number of boxes she had  (before buying 7 more)
