Vivian was trying to simplify it and it is already simplified.  I just assumed you needed to factor it.  It is always best to include the directions.

Vivian:  Yeah tell me about it.  Two of the students I'm tutoring were failing math because the teacher never gave directions.  I've taught math for years, so I knew what the students were suppose to do.  The parents sent a note to the teacher and the principal requesting directions now be included with all tests.  I mean the poor child had something like 4a2b+7a2b and she was trying to factor and got it wrong the instructor was wanting her to combine like terms.
