Amy,
I'm not really sure what you're looking for here. Are you looking for a term or examples?
I'm not aware of a specific term for what you describe. It could be called a realization or even an epiphany. I might just be called a plan, or a list of assets. But in application, the label is irrelevant.
An example might be realizing that you are capable of achieving your goals if you just make a plan and stick to it. Maybe it's realizing that you're not that different from your peers, everyone has their own struggles. Or maybe it's the realization that even small changes can have a big impact. There are at least as many possibilities as there are people.
But never forget that the key to reaching those new possibilities lies in setting SMART goals. SMART is an acronym that stands for:
Specific - is the goal well defined?
Measurable - will you know when you've reached it?
Attainable - is it possible within the laws of nature and man?
Reasonable - is it something that you or your team is capable of?
Timed - have you set a time or date to reach it?
It may all sound cliche', but it works.
