A luxury car rental company charges $150 per day in addition to a flat fee of $50 for insurance. Write an equation that represents the cost f(x) (in dollars) to rent the car for x days. This equation should be in slope-intercept form.
i have y=150x+50 but im not sure if that is correct and then im not sure how to graph the equation. i just need to get starts

Hi Bill,
You have the right equation and it is in slope-intercept form. To graph it, you can use the slope and the intercept. The y-intercept is (0,50). From there a slope of 150 tells you that you go up 150 units in y and then over 1 unit in x. (slope = change in y / change in x = 150/1).
