What is the total number of degrees in the angles of a pentagon?
The formula is 180 (n - 2) , where n is the number of sides. So in a pentagon, n is 5, so the total number of degrees is 180 * 3 = 540
The three 90-degree angles account for a total of 270, so that leaves 540 - 270 = 270 for the other two angles. 270 / 2 is 135, so each of the other two angles is 135 degrees.
