I’m a certified third-grade teacher with a Master of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin–Superior, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Education. I also hold a technical diploma in Pharmacy Technology and have completed both 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher certifications. With a strong foundation in child development, literacy, science, and trauma-informed practices, I bring a calm, creative, and confident presence to every learning space I enter.
Currently, I teach full-time in a diverse Title I elementary school, where I help students strengthen reading fluency, comprehension, math reasoning, and social-emotional skills. I have experience supporting students with IEPs, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, dyslexia, and English Language Learning needs. My approach balances structure and support with warmth and flexibility. I often integrate movement, mindfulness, and breathwork to help learners manage energy, reduce test anxiety, and build resilience.
As a tutor, I prioritize relationships, curiosity, and individualized support. Whether your child is catching up in core subjects, navigating learning differences, or working on building focus and confidence, I will meet them where they are and help them grow—academically and emotionally. I believe in teaching the whole child and equipping each student with tools that foster success both in school and beyond. It’s my joy to help learners feel seen, heard, and capable.
