I am a graduate of Whitworth University with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Special Education and Theatre. I held my teaching license in the states of California, Washington, and Idaho. Though all are currently expired. After one year as a substitute teacher, I taught English to 3rd-5th graders in a public school in South Korea for two years. Since then I have taught students of various ages since including my own children. I am currently a teacher with VIPKID. I teach English to children worldwide. I have been an online tutor for 8 years and have taught over 5,000 unique students over that period of time. I am energetic, engaging, and know-how children learn. My most experience is with EFL children from ages 4 to 13. I am engaging and enjoy working with children. I can find their weaknesses and work with them to improve. I am gentle and encouraging. I hope to meet you soon!
