Welcome, I'm Chris! I'm a multi-disciplinary STEM professional with years of experience in software engineering, applied mathematics, and applied physics. I earned my MS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and my BS in Engineering Physics -- and Mathematics minor -- from Tulane University. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on cutting-edge projects in robotics, next-gen defense and aerospace R&D, and financial software engineering, where I built automated trading systems, conducted complex data analysis, and developed simulation tools.
I specialize in a variety of STEM subjects, including: Physics (Mechanics, E&M, Fluids, Thermo, etc.); Mathematics (Calculus, Linear Algebra, Diff Eq, etc.); Engineering (Statics, Dynamics, Control Theory, Simulation, Experimental Design, etc.); Programming (Python, C/C++, MATLAB, Algorithms, Data structures, etc.); and Technical Writing (white papers, copy-writing, technical reports, presentation design, grammar, etc.).
I believe anybody can learn anything with the right motivation and context of the material, and my goal is to foster both comprehension and confidence. Too often students lose their enthusiasm and interest in math and science because of poor instruction that loses sight of the bigger picture. I believe that understanding the “why” behind each concept is just as important as mastering the “how.” My approach breaks down subjects into intuitive steps, drawing from my experience mentoring interns, junior team members, and professionals alike. Whether you're a student or a professional looking to sharpen your skills, I tailor my teaching to meet your specific needs.
I offer a free 1-hour consultation meeting to discuss your goals and how I can help achieve them. I require a 12-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Customized lesson plans and materials are provided based on your progress and needs.
Please reach out to learn more or schedule a lesson! I’m here to help you succeed with coursework, exam prep, or professional development!
