Great tutor
We have worked with Linda for a few months now. Our subject of interest is math. There’s good chemistry between her and my kid and she has a way of keeping him motivated and entertained throughout the entire session. She has also been flexible to adjust her materials so as to help strengthen the math concepts he is learning at school. We are very happy to have Linda help us.

I hired Linda to tutor my niece in math, specifically for algebra and geometry. I chose Linda because of her extensive math teaching experience as well as her special education certification… it was exactly what my niece needed. My niece has ADHD and has historically had significant difficulty in understanding math. My niece had not passed her state’s competency exam in Algebra which is required for high school graduation. My niece’s math performance on standardized testing was several grade levels below her peers. It was evident she needed significant skilled intervention to stop her deteriorating math performance. Linda was such a blessing for my niece! They met several times a week consistently over 3 months . Linda assessed the areas of deficiency and focused her tutoring efforts in helping my niece address these skill deficits . Linda also helped my niece stay current in her geometry course. My niece successfully retook her state Algebra competency exam and is currently passing in her Geometry class. I have no doubt these two positive outcomes would NOT HAVE OCCURRED without Linda’s help. Linda is a compassionate, flexible, competent and patient educator. I would not hesitate to recommend her tutoring services especially for a student with special needs. Her ability to adapt her approach to meet the learning needs of a particular student as well as creating a partnership to promote success , is a rare quality to find these days. I am eternally grateful to Linda for the work she has done with my niece. My niece has learned that she can decipher math with the right tools , effort and supports and that she can be successful…. which is a priceless lesson.

Linda is teaching my son reading comprehension. We really like it because it seems like all lessons are strategically aligned for each student and not a "one fit program for all students." In the short time that my son has begun his tutoring I can see all the ways that this tutoring is helping him.
