April really encouraged me and showed me how best to tackle my NCLEX journey. I had so many questions for her and she really knows her stuff. She also made it really fun, which helps me retain information easier. I would highly recommend her for any stage of your learning journey. April is fantastic!

Anyone who is struggling and looking for help April not only gave me back the confidence i needed after failing the NCLEX twice, she helped me reorganize my thinking process while reading through and answering questions. April gave me confidence in myself to not second guess or dwell too much on questions and look at the specific words i needed to key in on to find the correct answer. Without a doubt in my mind that without April I would not have passed.

Awesome tutor and a truly great person!

I’m so grateful to have found April in my search for an NCLEX tutor. I’ve only had two sessions with her but I can already tell a difference in my confidence level. I really look forward to our sessions because to me it feels much more than just tutoring with someone I don’t know and/or someone who has no interest in knowing me. She makes you feel so comfortable, capable, and cared for. She wants you to do well and more importantly makes me believe in myself. When working on question repetition, she covers content I need refreshing on and doesn’t make me feel incompetent for not knowing something. For myself, not knowing something I feel I should probably know impedes the likeliness that I will ask the necessary questions and is also based on who I’m working with. However, with April I feel free to be open and honest about things I don’t know or need help with. She ask what I want to focus on and provides resources for review. She’s not the type to sit and write out a bunch of NCLEX rules that tack on more distractions (imo), although I’m sure she would if you asked her to. She teaches you as you go and reinforces background knowledge. Sometimes it’s hard to ask questions if you don’t know what you don’t know.. April will tell you before you even ask, it’s awesome. We have worked on med math, content review, pacing, select all that apply, etc. She’s not interested in being punctual about our time frame and more interested in providing a quality tutor session where I’ve gained something from our time together. In addition to her beneficial tutoring style, she cracks me up. She’s real with you and you can just feel the authenticity of her personality. I feel like she’s vulnerable with me just as much as I am with her and that’s so valuable to my learning style as well as in establishing a safe place to study and get better. I can’t recommend her enough, love our time together and the way I feel following our session. I believe my progress can only go up through studying with her and that’s something I’ve prayed about for a long time now. You’re the bomb April, thank you for being you! - Callie Freeman

Great NCLEX Review Session!!

Ms. April is such a patient and knowledgeable tutor. She’s very kind and is eager to help. Our first session was super simple and to the point. She talked through some basic nursing and NCLEX points. We then continued on to do practice questions, and she provided me with feedback on my strategy and rationales for selections. I would definitely work with her again!
