Before becoming a teacher, I spent five years as an educational consultant at a tutoring company, helping families find the best academic support for their students. That experience gave me a strong foundation in personalized learning and an understanding of how to match students with strategies that work for them.
I tutor all levels of high school math and specialize in SAT prep. One of the things I love most about tutoring is being able to tailor lessons to each student’s learning style and pace. In the classroom, it’s often a one-size-fits-all approach, but in tutoring, I get to shift my style based on what clicks for each student. I also like to stay in touch with my students’ teachers to make sure we’re aligned on expectations and goals.
