I help AP World History: Modern and AP European History students make sense of the content and turn what they know into clear, well-supported answers. Whether you need help with a difficult unit, stronger writing, or a focused plan for the AP exam, I break the work into manageable steps and explain what to do, why it matters, and how to practice it.

I am a licensed history teacher with a bachelor's degree in History Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. My classroom experience includes teaching AP World History, AP European History, and AP Human Geography at Panther Creek High School. As a College Board consultant and AP exam reader, I bring experience training teachers and evaluating AP responses to my work with students. That background helps me explain the skills behind the rubric and give specific, useful feedback.

Our sessions focus on your needs. We can work on reading historical sources, connecting events across time and place, or answering stimulus-based multiple-choice questions. For writing, I guide students through short-answer questions, document-based questions, and long essays: interpreting the prompt, developing a defensible thesis, selecting evidence, and explaining how that evidence supports an argument. I model the process, then help you practice it so you can use the skills independently.

I offer one-on-one support for coursework and AP exam preparation, with lessons built around the topics and skills that need the most attention.
