I am an Economics and Violin Performance major at the University of Michigan with minors in Business and Performing Arts Management. I have over five years of tutoring and teaching experience and break down concepts for better understanding and am very adept at online schooling.

I have taken math classes up to Calculus II as well as Statistics and Econometrics. Economics is a heavily quantitative major and my experience as a music major allows me to think outside the box to help students...

I have played the violin for over 17 years and was a Michigan Youth Arts Finalist (Top Violinist in Michigan in 2016 and 2018), the 1st place winner of the American Protégé International Concerto Competition (performed at Carnegie Hall), and the 1st place winner of the Grosse Pointe and Michigan Pops Concerto Competitions. I have years of experience with music theory and have folk and jazz training as well.

I have over five years of teaching experience and am a violin performance and economics major at The University of Michigan. I have been playing violin for over 17 years and my students have won many competitions and have even performed at Carnegie Hall. I have won first place in the Grosse Pointe Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Pops, Rosalie Edwards, and American Protege (2x - performed at Carnegie Hall) competitions, and was awarded best young soloist in Michigan in 2018. I have experience teaching students of all ages and have experience teaching different types of violin (fiddle and jazz). I am currently the Concertmaster of the Michigan Pops Orchestra.

Went through many tutors until we found Catherine. My daughter likes her method of tutoring by using an IPad (saves time and easier to follow). She did a great job breaking down the problems that made it easier for my daughter to follow and understand.

Magnificent tutor!

Easy to work with and explains concepts very well. Would definitely recommend. She has helped my daughter so much in math and she is now getting all As! My daughter loves her and has shown so much growth in math since she has met with Catherine!
