My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s individual goals, whether they want to build strong fundamentals, prepare classical repertoire, study theory and composition, or simply enjoy making music.

I am an award-winning professional composer whose music has been performed throughout the United States and internationally. My experience as a composer and pianist allows me to bring a practical understanding of technique, interpretation, theory, and musicianship into every lesson.
I have taught both privately and through established music schools, working one-on-one with children, teenagers, and adults. I believe students learn best when lessons are structured but enjoyable, with clear goals and positive reinforcement. Goes over issues that are important of playing piano. Gives exercises that help you to learn the techniques. Has ways to have you learn not too fast but also not too slow to and learn in a fair gradual pace.
