Over the years I've tutored in geometry, algebra, precalculus, calculus 1 & 2, and in computer programming. I graduated last May with a degree in information science from Cornell University. I've been tutoring since my Junior year of high school. Over the years I've tutored in geometry, algebra, precalculus, calculus 1 & 2, and in computer programming. I have experience tutoring many different skill levels, from high school freshmen to my peers in Cornell's engineering department.

I get along well with people of all ages. I think being comfortable with your tutor is really important for a student to be able to get the most out of their experience. I'm a very patient person, and am good at working with people to understand what they're struggling with. I'm good at breaking down difficult problems into digestible components.

I got a 5 on the AB Calculus exam, and a 780 on the SAT math portion. I continued my math education into college, where I took courses in higher level Calculus, Statistics and Discrete Math.

I am flexible, I want to work with my students in a way that is comfortable for them. My availability is very open. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Chess

I've been playing the game for my whole life, but started taking it very seriously in the last 2 years. I am an amateur, but I am more than qualified to teach beginners and lower mid-level players (up to around 1300 on chess.com). I am rated 1850 in rapid online.

Sephora, 7 lessons with Noah

Great chess tutor!

My 7 year old (intermediate chess player) son has been working on his chess game with Noah. He loves working with Noah and talking about chess with him. Noah is a great teacher. He is dependable, organized and a good communicator. He puts care into planning his lessons for my son. I know he can take my son to a higher level in his chess playing, as he is teaching him important concepts and strategies and giving him challenging exercises to work on in between sessions.
