I am a graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in Computer Science. I'm currently working as a Quantitative Developer for Fidelity Investments. Teaching and helping others has always been a passion of mine, and I spent two and a half years working as a teaching assistant for various 100-300-level computer science courses. He is very patient and understanding. He will talk as simple as possible to help you understand the material which was very helpful for me since I am a beginner. He was also very kind and explained everything I asked for very well and I feel as if I learned more in the hour and a half session than I did in most of the time in my actual class. Again super helpful!!

Incredibly Helpful and Patient
Michael makes sure that you fully understand what you're doing. He would check that I understood the concept completely before moving on, and when I still didn't understand, he had many different ways to explain it. He is personable as well and really seems to care that you understand the concepts of C++.

After trying a few different tutors for C++ programming, Michael definitely clicked for me. His explanations are easy to understand, and he answered all my questions. I really liked that once he explained the concept to me, he had me work through examples and ensured I understood the material. I am now much more confident and I definitely recommend him!

I can't say enough good things about Michael and my Java lesson with him. I am very much a beginner and he was patient and was able to continue the call until all of my questions were answered. He is great at explaining the language in a way that makes sense and had me talk through it and write the code which is very helpful for retaining how to write it. I came away feeling more confident in my Java writing abilities.

Very kind, actually teaches, and cares
Michael was extremely helpful! He wouldn't move on if I didn't understand a concept. He was very patient with me and understanding. He doesn't just give you the answer or try to rush you either, he is very thorough and caring. He gave good constructive criticism and made sure that I understood what was going on before just assuming that I knew. I got an A on my assignment, he gave me hope in myself again.

Object Oriented Programming with Java
Michael is a CS professional with strong coding and deep conceptional skillsets.
