My experience goes back to before the smartphone was invented. When I take on a new student, I ask myself how he/she learns best, what is the preferred learning style, and how I can help this person learn more effectively.

While I specialize in humanities (history, literature, English language arts) I have also helped students to learn science and math by teaching the best study skills.

I offer reduced rates if you book multiple hours. If you're on a low income, I can offer a reduced rate for that as well. I believe that all children deserve the very best.

In addition to my tutorial duties, I also write book reviews, and my extensive readings have been a great asset when teaching history, social studies, and political science.

I studied the Old Testament and its commentaries since age six. I have studied both the first five books of the Holy Bible, proceeding to the Prophets, Chronicles, and later apocryphal works. When I first began studying the scriptures I was taught with the original Hebrew language and commentaries, which gave me a deeper understanding of the historical and psychological significance of the story.

I have been teaching budding artists to draw in pencil, charcoal, and conte crayon, both for still lifes and portraits. If you're interested in learning to use watercolors, I can teach you how to gain control over them and make use of their qualities. The artist's individual style will be taken into account, so you can develop your own recognizable work.

I taught 5th graders in a special education classroom, where they learned math, ELA, social studies, and elementary school science. The ELA curriculum covered reading comprehension, listening comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing.
