My name is Matt and I am an Investment Banker and Corporate Development expert with a passion for personalized education.

I've also worked in the financial sector as a valuation specialist and credit investment analyst. My experience across the capital structure from multiple perspectives makes me well suited to tutor a variety of financial subjects.

I come from a long line of teachers including both of my parents, my aunt, uncle, grandparents and brother. Education has always been very important to me on a personal level. When I tutor I put my whole heart into it, and often go over time because I'm more focused on the student understanding the material rather than an hourly wage. I believe I am differentiated not only by my passion to teach, but also by my ability to say things in such a way that others can understand the concept, not simply the way I understand it. I can't stress that point enough. Too often do highly intelligent people relay a concept for their own ears as opposed to the ears of the listener.

That said, below are some more details that might make one more comfortable that they are getting someone who backs up their advertisement with hard work.

I am an NYU Stern MBA, finishing in the top 10% of my class and have passed all three levels of the CFA exam on my first attempt. I graduated undergrad summa cum laude from SUNY Albany on a full tuition academic scholarship. I have $50 billion of merger and acquisition transaction value under my belt. I will teach you things you cannot learn in books or school. The less confident and more hopeless you feel, the more rewarding it will be when we achieve our joint goal - your success.
