I am a U.S. medical student currently in my research year between my third and fourth year of medical school, with a strong clinical foundation across internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, and obstetrics and gynecology. I have recently completed the USMLE Step 2 CK preparation and examination process, giving me an up-to-date understanding of NBME-style questions, UWorld frameworks, and the clinical reasoning skills required for success on Step 2 CK and shelf exams. My training emphasizes efficient differential diagnosis, pattern recognition, and applying core concepts under exam conditions.

I have experience tutoring peers in a one-on-one setting, with a focus on clinical reasoning, question interpretation, and systematic answer choice elimination. My teaching style centers on helping students understand why an answer is correct rather than relying on memorization. During sessions, I walk students through questions step by step, identify recurring weaknesses, and help them develop structured, repeatable approaches that can be applied across multiple subjects and question types.

My goal as a tutor is to help motivated students improve consistency and confidence, with the aim of pushing their performance into the 250+ range on Step 2 CK when appropriate. I tailor each session to the student’s baseline and goals, whether they are preparing for a specific shelf exam or working toward a higher Step 2 score. I strive to create a supportive, focused learning environment that emphasizes clarity, efficiency, and long-term retention of clinical reasoning skills.

Bahram is, without exaggeration, one of the best USMLE tutors you will find. He doesn’t just teach you what the correct answer is he teaches you how to think like a test writer and like a clinician at the same time, which is exactly what the USMLE demands. What truly sets Bahram apart is his ability to break down complex, high-yield concepts into clear, logical frameworks that actually stick. Every session is structured, efficient, and tailored to your weaknesses. He quickly identifies gaps in understanding and addresses them with precision, whether it’s refining clinical reasoning, mastering question-stem strategy, or clarifying nuanced pathophysiology that most resources gloss over. Bahram is exceptionally strong at walking through UWorld and NBME-style questions step-by-step, showing you how to extract key clues, eliminate distractors, and avoid common traps. His explanations are thorough but never overwhelming, and he constantly reinforces patterns so you start recognizing answers before even seeing the choices. Beyond his knowledge, Bahram is an outstanding teacher patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your success. He creates a supportive environment that builds confidence while holding you to a high standard. You leave each session not only knowing more, but thinking better.
