I’m an English major at Baruch College, where I’ve built a strong academic foundation in writing, research, and literary analysis. As a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and a recipient of multiple valedictorian awards from the U.S. Congress, House of Representatives, and New York State, I’ve consistently maintained high academic standards while completing rigorous coursework in English composition, rhetoric, and literature. These studies have given me extensive experience with academic writing, persuasive essays, literary analysis, and close reading. These are skills I now enjoy sharing with students.
My tutoring experience began in high school, where I helped students from elementary through high school improve their reading and writing skills. That early experience taught me to be patient, encouraging, and adaptable to different learning styles. I specialize in breaking down complex writing concepts and explaining grammar, structure, and clarity in ways that make sense to each student. I now work exclusively online, tailoring each session to the student’s individual goals, whether they are crafting a personal statement, improving grammar, or preparing for essays and research papers. My focus is not only on helping students complete their assignments but also on building their confidence, independence, and long-term writing skills.
