Bio

Hi there! I'm a Master's student in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, and I studied biochemistry and studio art at Hunter College. I’ve spent a lot of time in the lab and classroom, working on everything from cancer nanotech research to neuroscience projects. Along the way, I’ve developed a deep love for chemistry and math—and I really enjoy helping others feel confident in those subjects too.

I earned a 780 on the SAT Math section in high school and maintained a 3.85 GPA while completing a rigorous biochemistry degree, where I consistently applied algebra, geometry, and data analysis—core skills tested on the SAT.

I believe that learning works best when it's personalized. Everyone understands things a little differently, so I take the time to get to know how you learn. Whether you're getting ready for the SAT, ACT, AP Chemistry, or a tough college class, I’ll tailor our sessions to match your style. Some students like visual breakdowns, others prefer step-by-step problem solving, and some just need a new way to look at a concept.

My goal is to make learning feel less stressful and more doable, and maybe even a little fun. Let’s work together to find what works for you!

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I’m a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University with a strong foundation in Algebra through advanced coursework and daily application in research. I earned my B.A. in Biochemistry with Honors from Hunter College, where I used algebraic reasoning to analyze data and build models in multiple STEM labs. I’ve worked with students in both academic and support settings, focusing on building confidence and breaking down Algebra 1 concepts into approachable steps. I personalize each session to match how the student learns best, whether they need help with equations, word problems, or graphing.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I’m a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University with a strong background in Algebra 2 through my biochemistry degree and extensive STEM research. I regularly applied Algebra 2 concepts like functions, systems of equations, and exponential modeling in laboratory work and data analysis. I have experience supporting students by breaking down complex topics and adapting lessons to different learning styles. My goal is to make Algebra 2 more intuitive and help students build the problem-solving skills they need to succeed.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I’m a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University with a B.A. in Biochemistry and Honors Thesis research in cancer nanotechnology. I’ve completed extensive coursework in general, organic, and physical chemistry, and applied these concepts in multiple research labs, including projects involving drug delivery systems and protein analysis. I have experience mentoring students and explaining chemistry in a clear, personalized way that connects theory to real-world examples. Whether it’s balancing equations, understanding reaction mechanisms, or preparing for exams, I help students build confidence and mastery in chemistry.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I’m a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University with a strong math foundation built through my biochemistry degree and research experience. I’ve applied precalculus topics like functions, trigonometry, and exponential/logarithmic relationships in both academic coursework and scientific analysis. I have experience working with students to clarify challenging concepts and tailor lessons to their individual learning styles. My goal is to make precalculus approachable and help students feel confident in their problem-solving abilities.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I’m a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University with a strong background in math and standardized test preparation. I earned a 780 on the SAT Math section in high school and maintained a 3.85 GPA while completing a rigorous biochemistry degree, where I consistently applied algebra, geometry, and data analysis—core skills tested on the SAT. I have experience helping students improve their test-taking strategies, manage time effectively, and approach SAT Math problems with confidence. I tailor sessions to each student’s strengths and weaknesses to maximize score improvements.
