I am a college student double majoring in Psychology and History with a passion for helping elementary students feel confident, capable, and excited about learning. I specialize in tutoring students from grades K–6 in reading, writing, social studies, and general homework support. I’ve worked with children one-on-one and in group settings, and I truly enjoy creating a space where young learners feel safe asking questions and proud of their progress. I currently offer online tutoring only, making learning accessible and convenient from the comfort of your home.
My virtual sessions are interactive, encouraging, and customized to each child’s learning style. I use tools like Google Jamboard and Whiteboard.chat to draw, solve problems, and stay hands-on together. For reading and writing, I rely on fun and effective platforms like Epic!, Storyline Online, and ReadTheory. In social studies, I bring topics to life using National Geographic Kids, Google Earth, and iCivics, which help young students explore big ideas in engaging, age-appropriate ways.
Each session has a clear structure, starting with a warm-up, followed by a focused skill-building activity, and ending with a game or review. I ask for at least 2 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling, and I will send a reminder email outlining session policies before our first meeting. My goal is to help your child enjoy learning, build confidence, and stay curious, all in a flexible and supportive online environment.
If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you and start working together to support your child’s success!
